The Adi Kailash Yatra from Dharchula is a captivating journey that begins with a scenic drive to Napalchu, Gunji, or Nabi Village, where travelers can stay in homestays. The following day is dedicated to exploring the majestic Adi Kailash, the serene Parwati Sarovar, the sacred Gauri Kund, and the historical Bheem ki Kheti. After a night of rest in Nabi, the adventure continues with a visit to the mystical Om Parvat, renowned for its snow-clad ā€œOmā€ symbol, followed by a tour of the ancient Vyas Gufa and the revered Kali Mata Temple.

DAY-1 :Dharchula to Nabi/Gunji

  1. After early breakfast, begin your ascent towards Nabhi/Gunji village — the base region for Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra. The drive is adventurous, passing through deep valleys, waterfalls, and dramatic Himalayan landscapes.

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  En route, stop at Chialekh, a beautiful high-altitude meadow known for its scenic charm and peaceful surroundings. If time permits, visit Manokamna Temple, believed to fulfill devotees’ wishes.

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā After leaving Dharchula, you will enter a No Network Zone for the next 2,3 days. Inform family members in advance.

Overnight Stay: Homestay in Nabhi / Gunji (Sharing Basis)

DAY-2 : Nabi/Gunji to Jyolingkong, Trek to Adi Kailash, Parvati Kund

Early breakfast followed by a breathtaking drive through the sacred Vyas Valley towards Jolingkong. From Jolingkong, begin a short trek to the holy Parvati Sarovar (1.5 km) and further to Gaurikund (2 km). Pony service is available at additional cost for those requiring assistance.

At Parvati Sarovar, perform pooja at the Shiva–Parvati Temple and witness the majestic darshan of Adi Kailash Parvat, believed to be the earthly representation of Mount Kailash. The surrounding peaks such as Pandava Parvat and Parvati Mukut enhance the divine atmosphere.

Spend peaceful time in meditation and photography before returning to Nabhi by evening.

Overnight Stay: Homestay in Nabhi / Gunji

DAY-3 : Nabi/Gunji to Nabidhang, Om Parvat Darshan, and Return to Dharchula

After breakfast, drive towards the sacred Om Parvat region. Witness the miraculous natural formation of the ā€˜OM’ symbol on the mountain face — a rare spiritual phenomenon visible from the Indian side.

On the return route, visit Kali Mandir at Kalapani, the origin point of the Kali River, and the revered Ved Vyas Gufa, associated with the composition of the Mahabharata.

After completing darshan and photography stops, descend back to Dharchula by evening and check into your hotel. Network connectivity resumes here.
